Filters

If you're setting up a simple network in your home office, or implementing a corporate strategy across your business, data filtering can really perfect the setup. Filters help by separating the voice and data traffic, putting each into its own line. This reduces interruptions and the possibility of interference on one line from activity on the other.

A great example is an ADSL internet connection, which can cause crackly sounds or drop-outs when on the same line as your phone. A filter will separate these so people can be online while enjoying the use of the phone at the same time.

Projects involving filters for data are often done at the same time as installing network points to make sure the setup is good from the get-go. You might also be looking at intercoms to facilitate voice communication throughout the office without needing to use the phone, too.

Why do I need a Data point?

You can use wireless connections but they halve the speed of your internet connection. With a Data point you can just simply plug your computer in and without needing passwords, you can access the internet and/or networks within your home or office.
