2-Way Wiring
A light fitting can require 2-Way wiring when it needs to be accessed from more than one place. 2-Way wiring is often a great solution for your hallway light, or for outdoor lights - anywhere that you need to turn it on and off from a few different locations.
2-Way wiring is perfect for office lighting, as you may need a switch in the office itself and a control switch elsewhere. The extra flexibility of having a second switch can be very handy, so take a load off and let Snapper Group install a 2-Way wiring solution.
Downlights are often combined with 2-Way lighting - if they are adding light balance to a room this can be better controlled from a few switches around the room. Bedrooms can make use of 2-Way wiring to provide a switch on either side of the bed, or one by the bed and one by the door.

My Power Point won’t work! (It’s tingly or hot to touch). What do I do?
If your power point is hot or tingly to touch then it is a fire and electrocution hazard.
Bad wiring and poor installation often occurs at connection points within your electrical system. These symptoms indicate that your power point is electrified or the system is overloading. Call an electrician - you can visit our Contact page to get in touch with an Electrician straight away, or refer to our Power Points page for more information.
If your power point doesn’t work, but doesn’t seem tingly or hot to touch, the appliance plugged into the power point could be the issue. Check the power point by plugging in something else, say a lamp. If it works, it’s probably the appliance that needs replacing or repair.
